Can I always get into my apps?

Yes. On the pause screen, “Open anyway” opens the app straight away. After a reset, “Open for 10 min” does the same. The pause comes back after 10 minutes of use.

Which apps can’t be paused?

Detour never pauses itself, Phone, maps and navigation apps, Find My, Health, glucose monitors or Settings, so you can always reach what matters. You pick single apps, not whole categories.

Why does Detour ask for Screen Time?

Apple’s Screen Time permission is what lets an app pause other apps on your iPhone. Detour uses it only on your own device; nobody else can see or change your choices.

Why does it ask for notifications?

iOS doesn’t let a pause screen open another app directly. When you tap “Take a reset”, Detour sends one notification; tap it to start the reset.

How do I stop using Detour?

Remove apps from the list in Detour, or delete Detour. Deleting it lifts every pause and removes everything it stored. You can also turn off its Screen Time access in Settings › Screen Time.
